Copidosoma graminis sp. n. (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), a polyembryonic parasitoid of armyworms (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) in Australia

Abstract

Copidosoma graminis sp. n., a polyembryonic encyrtid parasitoid of armyworm pests of gramineous crops and pasture in Australia, is described and compared with related species. The parasitoid plays an important role in the natural control of these pests in Australia.
