The African and Malagasian species of Nephotettix Matsumura (Homoptera: Cicadelloidea)

Extract

The genus Nephotettix in Africa and Madagascar has been found to be represented by two species: one of them is N. modulatus Melich., the other is described as new and named N. afer sp.n. Both species are widely distributed in Africa, and a map is presented showing the countries in which each has so far been recorded.
