A new species of Cataenococcus Ferris (Hom., Coccoidea, Pseudococcidae) on banana in Costa Rica

Extract

A new species of Cataenococcus Ferris, C. larai, is described from material obtained from banana fruits in Costa Rica. A key is provided to the five known N. American species of Cataenococcus.
