A Phycitine Pyralid associated with Sorghum cultivars (Kaffir corn, dura or Indian millet) in Uganda, Tanzania and Sudan, and also known from one example from Northern Nigeria, is described as new and is named Salebria mesozonella sp.n. Illustrations are given of the adults and genitalia of both sexes.
