Deux modles originaux et ingnieux de siges-brancards nous viennent des Indes Orientales, invention du major W. O. Kirkpatrick I.M.S. Les figures ci-jointes, reproduites d'aprs le Journal of the United Services of India, en indiqueront, mieux qu'une description, le mode d'agencement. Le but de ces brancards n'est pas de se prter de longs trajets, mais au transport des blesss, en pays de montagne, du champ de bataille aux postes de secours.
