If singularity be any motive for surprize and admiration, the late discovery at Christ Church, in Hampshire, may justly excite the wonder of the curious and inquisitive. At the ancient monastery, now the seat of my most respected friend Gustavus Brander, esq. the prior, who was a very considerable ecclesiastic [a], though not mitred, had his proper refractory, with a chapel adjoining.
