Amongst the State Papers in this repository, is a document without signature, written in a good bold secretary hand, such as was common in the reign of Henry VIII. and to the following effect:
“Sonne Reignald—I send you God's blessyng and myne, more of my charitie then of your deservyng; for where my hope and trust was, in God, to have had comfort of you, the same, by your demeanour, is turned to sorrow.
