* It has been suggested that Hga-ngi may be a winter solstice ceremony, but all the Zemi feasts known to me are dated by a lunar calendar, and the series to which Hga-ngi belongs are dependent on the harvest, and therefore variable. The winter solstice, however, almost always falls within the fortnight which Hgangi covers.
