1 The record of ISAS meetings is normally kept by the Second Vice-President. The Second Vice-President at the time of the Toronto meeting was Stanley Greenfield, whom illness prevented from attending the meeting. He died, on 30 July 1987, to the great regret of all Anglo-Saxonists. The present record was compiled by Michael Lapidge and Roberta Frank who, in the circumstances, apologize for any inadvertent omissions or inaccuracies.
