2 Assembly of Librarians of the Americas. Document 8: “The Agenda.” p. 1. Throughout the duration of the Assembly full documentation was achieved not only by standard lists of personnel of panels, committees, delegates, rules and regulations, etc., but also by the publication of a “Daily Bulletin” which recorded summaries of the general sessions and of the committee meetings. Much of this material was further publicized through the pages of the “Information Bulletin” of the Library of Congress. Ultimately the Proceedings of the Assembly, including the detailed reports of subcommittees, will be published in full as an independent document.

3 The personnel of the Agenda Committee consisted of Dr. Gietz, Chairman; Jorge Basadre. Director, Biblioteca Nacional, Lima, Peru; Galileo Patiño, Director, Biblioteca Nacional, Panama; Juan A.
