1 The convention applies on the part of the United States to all territories subject to the sovereignty or authority of the United States, excepting the Panama Canal Zone, and on the part of the United Kingdom to Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Southern Ehodesia, to all colonies and protectorates, to all territories under the protection of the United Kingdom, and to all territories under trusteeship administered by the Government of the United Kingdom.
