In the original publication of Hutson et al. (Reference Hutson, Johnson, Price, Record, Rodriguez, Snow and Stocking2023), the acronym JAR was used to refer to the Journal of Archaeological Research, as stated in the article. The authors note that JAR has a longer association with the Journal of Anthropological Research, and instead we should have used the abbreviation JArR, as other publications have.
