Comments on Johnson's “The Trincheras Culture of Northern Sonora”

Abstract

In a recent article Johnson makes use of the term “Desert Hohokam.” This term has been questioned several times, and nothing has been offered since in support of its use. The facts do not suggest what the concept of “Desert Hohokam” is supposed to imply.
