Published online by Cambridge University Press: 20 January 2017
Abstract
Cultivated plants from Waterfall Cave include several varieties of maize, common beans, bottle gourd, and squash. Most of the corn is of the Pima-Papago race, and the whole plant complex is similar to the group of cultivated plants recently grown by the Papago and other Indians of southwestern Arizona and northwestern Mexico.
