The examination for M.Phil in Arts (Library and Information Studies) requires a thesis or dissertation not exceeding 80,000 words. For full-time students the minimum course is two years, for part-time, normally twice that length. Copies can be consulted in the libraries of University College London and the University of London. Applications for photocopying should be made to the latter.
