Selection of Spectra for X-Ray Microscopy

Abstract

By selecting particular spectra the contrast of images may be closely controlled. Furthermore, absorption analysis of regions as small as 10 microns may be performed. Application of the absorption technique on mineral sections and the instrumental requirements for the technique are discussed.
