An X-Ray Fluorescence Method of Analysis of Microsamples
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 06 March 2019
Abstract
A method is described for the analysis of microscopic samples that utilizes a commercial electron diffraction unit for the excitation of fluorescent X-rays in a specimen and photographic recording of the resulting spectra by a small fluorescenceanalysis camera placed within the electron diffraction unit. Applications of this method to the analysis of precipitates extracted from steels are included in the discussion.
