Respectful homage to the master, siddha Sanggye Nyänpa!

Here I begin with the narration of realization of Bängar Jampäl Zangpo who is a great Buddha, the almighty lord of yogis; thus to recount it, the following words are spoken:

In the case of such a great Buddha, where could negative behavior [possibly] come from? That is why I think there is no greater complete liberation life-story. I composed it for this reason. As for such a perfect Buddha, having attained complete liberation, he acts to establish all sentient beings in truly high [states] and the ultimately excellent [state]. The cause of this truly high [state] is the intention to establish others in complete liberation after showing it oneself.

Then, “ancient times” means a long time ago, [even] before immeasurable kalpas he has been holding on to bodhicitta since the first moment of generating it: “In a similar way, also superior Mañjuśrī generated [bodhi]citta before, so from today on, if I generate personal desire in the mind indeed, I will delude all Buddhas dwelling in the ten directions. From now on, until I one day achieve enlightenment, I will not produce any harsh attitude of the mind, harmful intentions, envy, nor miserliness.” The nature [ngang tshul] of conduct of great superior beings is of one taste.

And “has no memory” means not remembering what was done; due to unimpaired remembering of unmixed Buddha dharmas, he ultimately perceives clearly through the knowledge of individually self-cognizing primordial consciousness. However, he does not remember [attaining bad rebirths] because he had not attained them before.

Moreover, the following words are spoken:

Thus, the conduct of the Lord of Śākyas himself, the great pure one, Bhagavān, is free from the impurity of complete evil, becoming a fine vase of limitless qualities like refined gold.
