Paul was a theologian. He was, of course, also more than that: a church planter, a pastor, a poet, a church diplomat, and a tent maker. But in the end, his mind is theological. The way he works, the ways he engages in his vocation, and the way he reflects on it are all theological. He was trained by one of the star theologians of his time, Gamaliel, and it shows.
