Convocation anno decimo octavo Iacobi regis begun by Archbishop Abbot anno decimo translationis at St Paul's, London, videlicet 17 January 1620 [1621] [fo. 329] A writ to the archbishop to sit in parliament, 16 January 1620 [1621].

[fo. 330] A writ of convocation to the archbishop, 17 January 1620 [1621].

[fo. 331] A writ to prorogue from the 17th to the 24th of January 1620 [1621].

[fo. 331] Second prorogation by Mr Thomas Ridley609 by virtue of the king's writ and archbishop's commission thereupon, to the 31st of January 1620 [1621].

The proxy for the dean and chapter of Exeter

On 30 December 1620 Edward Cotton was elected proctor for the dean and chapter of Exeter. The proxy was also issued to William Cotton and William Helyar . Proctors of the clergy

[fos. 340-4] Nothing of note but several commissions to preside loco archiepiscopi, and in the seventh session, the lower house brings in a schedule of neglecters of canons of 1604.

Sessions 9-10. Sunday 4 March 1621 (AM and PM)

[fos. 346-54] Grant of three subsidies of 4s. First whole payment of 4s., 1 May 1621. Then half yearly 2s. And the last payment, May 1st 1623.

[fos. 354-8] Nothing remarkable.

Session 26. Tuesday 5 June 1621

[fo. 358] Archbishop by the king's writ adjourns (so in the writ: ‘adiornetis’) to the 15th of November 1621, to Westminster.

Session 27. Thursday 15 November 1621

[fo. 359] Archbishop by the king's writ adjourns to the same place, 21 November 1621.

Session 28. Wednesday 21 November 1621

Nothing of note.

Sessions 29-33. Dates unknown

[fos. 359-60] Nothing considerable.

Session 34. Saturday 9 February 1622

[fo. 361] Bishop of Worcester, by the archbishop's commission and king's writ, dissolves the convocation.
