Summary

Assesses the incidence of various forms of intentional life-shortening disclosed by the first Dutch national survey of medical decision-making at the end of life, and points out that the incidence of intentional life-shortening was much higher than the incidence of 'euthanasia' as narrowly defined by the researchers.
