Summary
Ofair Razin died at the age of thirty after an almost lifelong struggle with multiple sclerosis. On the basis of his Ph.D. dissertation, “Exchange Rate Misalignments and Economic Growth,” submitted to the Georgetown University Department of Economics, his adviser, Susan M. Collins, prepared a chapter for this volume. Although only a budding researcher in economics, Ofair Razin was a mature fighter for dignity in a life lived under adverse conditions. We dedicate this book to his memory.
