Summary
Medical imaging serves an essential role in the care continuum for transgender and gender diverse patients. In addition to evaluation of general medical conditions, imaging may be used in the transgender population for cancer screening and for evaluation after gender-affirming therapies. Collaboration among gynecologists, radiology professionals, and patients is essential to ensure diagnostic utility of imaging and a positive imaging experience.
