In the list below, allusions which could refer to multiple biblical passages are indicated by the abbreviation “cf.,” as in Mat. 24:2 (cf. Mk. 13:2); I have resisted counting each possibility separately to avoid distorting the total number of references in the sources. Where multiple biblical passages are conflated this is indicated by “with” (abbreviated as “w/”), as in Gen. 18:3 w/33:10. Underlined references appear in the works of multiple authors. Asterisks (*) indicate ambiguous references which use language that appears verbatim in the Old and New Testaments.
