Let $G$ be a semi-simple algebraic group over an algebraically closed field $k$, whose characteristic is positive and does not divide the order of the Weyl group of $G$, and let $\breve{G}$ be its Langlands dual group over $k$. Let $C$ be a smooth projective curve over $k$ of genus at least two. Denote by $\operatorname{Bun}_{G}$ the moduli stack of $G$-bundles on $C$ and $\operatorname{LocSys}_{\breve{G}}$ the moduli stack of $\breve{G}$-local systems on $C$. Let $D_{\operatorname{Bun}_{G}}$ be the sheaf of crystalline differential operators on $\operatorname{Bun}_{G}$. In this paper we construct an equivalence between the bounded derived category $D^{b}(\operatorname{QCoh}(\operatorname{LocSys}_{\breve{G}}^{0}))$ of quasi-coherent sheaves on some open subset $\operatorname{LocSys}_{\breve{G}}^{0}\subset \operatorname{LocSys}_{\breve{G}}$ and bounded derived category $D^{b}(D_{\operatorname{Bun}_{G}}^{0}\text{-}\text{mod})$ of modules over some localization $D_{\operatorname{Bun}_{G}}^{0}$ of $D_{\operatorname{Bun}_{G}}$. This generalizes the work of Bezrukavnikov and Braverman in the $\operatorname{GL}_{n}$ case.

Cet article est une contribution à la fois au calcul du nombre de fibrés de Hitchin sur une courbe projective et à l’explicitation de la partie nilpotente de la formule des traces d’Arthur-Selberg pour une fonction test très simple. Le lien entre les deux questions a été établi dans [Chaudouard, Sur le comptage des fibrés de Hitchin. À paraître aux actes de la conférence en l’honneur de Gérard Laumon]. On décompose cette partie nilpotente en une somme d’intégrales adéliques indexées par les orbites nilpotentes. Pour les orbites de type «régulières par blocs», on explicite complètement ces intégrales en termes de la fonction zêta de la courbe.

We compare the cohomology of (parabolic) Hitchin fibers for Langlands dual groups G and G∨. The comparison theorem fits in the framework of the global Springer theory developed by the author. We prove that the stable parts of the parabolic Hitchin complexes for Langlands dual group are naturally isomorphic after passing to the associated graded of the perverse filtration. Moreover, this isomorphism intertwines the global Springer action on one hand and Chern class action on the other. Our result is inspired by the mirror symmetric viewpoint of geometric Langlands duality. Compared to the pioneer work in this subject by T. Hausel and M. Thaddeus, R. Donagi and T. Pantev, and N. Hitchin, our result is valid for more general singular fibers. The proof relies on a variant of Ngô’s support theorem, which is a key point in the proof of the Fundamental Lemma.

We develop the Springer theory of Weyl group representations in the language of symplectic topology. Given a semisimple complex group G, we describe a Lagrangian brane in the cotangent bundle of the adjoint quotient 𝔤/G that produces the perverse sheaves of Springer theory. The main technical tool is an analysis of the Fourier transform for constructible sheaves from the perspective of the Fukaya category. Our results can be viewed as a toy model of the quantization of Hitchin fibers in the geometric Langlands program.

This work is the geometric part of our proof of the weighted fundamental lemma, which is an extension of Ngô Bao Châu’s proof of the Langlands–Shelstad fundamental lemma. Ngô’s approach is based on a study of the elliptic part of the Hichin fibration. The total space of this fibration is the algebraic stack of Hitchin bundles and its base space is the affine space of ‘characteristic polynomials’. Over the elliptic set, the Hitchin fibration is proper and the number of points of its fibers over a finite field can be expressed in terms of orbital integrals. In this paper, we study the Hitchin fibration over an open set larger than the elliptic set, namely the ‘generically regular semi-simple set’. The fibers are in general neither of finite type nor separated. By analogy with Arthur’s truncation, we introduce the substack of ξ-stable Hitchin bundles. We show that it is a Deligne–Mumford stack, smooth over the base field and proper over the base space of ‘characteristic polynomials’. Moreover, the number of points of the ξ-stable fibers over a finite field can be expressed as a sum of weighted orbital integrals, which appear in the Arthur–Selberg traceformula.
