Health: Air quality; environmental and health infrastructure; integrated prevention and pollution control; management and distribution of drinking and waste water; noise; public health; promotion of clean urban transport.

Human capital: Actions by professionals (including vocational training); advanced support services for firms and groups of firms; agriculture-specific vocational training; assistance to research and technology development (R&TD), particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including access to R&TD services in research centres; assistance to SMEs with the promotion of environmentally friendly products and production processes; assisting large business organizations; design and dissemination of innovative and more productive ways of organizing work; design, introduction and implementation of educational reforms; developing educational and vocational training (for persons or firms); developing human potential in research and innovation, in particular through postgraduate studies, the training of researchers and networking activities connecting universities, research centres and businesses; development of lifelong learning systems and strategies within firms; development of specific services for employment, training and support for restructuring sectors and firms, and developing systems to anticipate economic change and future workplace requirements in terms of jobs and skills; educational infrastructure; forestry-specific vocational training; implementing active and preventive measures in the labour market; innovation and technology transfers, establishment of networks and partnerships between business and/ or research institutes; integrated projects for urban and rural regeneration; investment in firms directly linked to research and innovation; LEADER+; measures for improving access to and efficient use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) by SMEs; modernization and strengthening of labour market institutions; other measures to stimulate research, innovation and entrepreneurship in SMEs; pathways to integration and reentry into employment for women and disadvantaged groups; research projects based in universities and research institutes; research, technological development and innovation (RTDI); support for young farmers; support for self-employment and business start-ups; training for researchers.

Agriculture: Adjustment of fishing effort, defined as fleet capacity (tonnage and engine power) multiplied by days at sea; agricultural water resources management; aquaculture; development and improvement of infrastructure connected with the development of agriculture; development of cultural infrastructure; diversification of agricultural activities; encouragement of craft activities; encouragement of tourismrelated activities.
