In recent years, research on the influencing factors of students’ English learning has found that students’ psychological factors are the core factor affecting their learning effectiveness. The innovation of English translation teaching mode in the context of “Internet plus” is of great significance to promote the improvement of English translation teaching quality, which can enhance students’ learning enthusiasm, effectively alleviate students’ learning fear and escape symptoms.

We selected 120 students from a certain university who have phobia and avoidance symptoms towards English learning as the research subjects. They were divided into an experimental group and a control group. During the research period, the experimental group used the established English translation teaching mode for teaching, while the control group used the traditional teaching mode. The mental health status of two groups of students is analyzed after the three-month experimental period.

The study used Excel 2010 and SPSS 23.0 to organize and analyze the data. The results showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in 12 dimensions such as somatization and anxiety (P>0.05). After intervention, the scores of all dimensions in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).

From this, it can be seen that after the innovative reform of the English translation teaching model, the experimental group’s CCSMHS scores in all dimensions have significantly decreased. This innovative approach can effectively improve students’ mental health status.

The allocation of power in universities has a direct impact on students’ mental health, and whether the allocation of power is reasonable or not can lead to mixed depression symptoms in students’ learning process. Mixed type depression usually not only has symptoms of depression, but also is accompanied by manic symptoms. The fundamental way to improve the internal governance structure of universities is to establish a power balance mechanism, effectively ensuring the balanced allocation of students’ political, academic, and democratic power, and forming a scientific and reasonable power structure.

The study selected 50 students respectively from two universities as the research subjects, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group conducted a balanced allocation of internal governance structure, while the control group adopted traditional management methods. The depression status of two groups of students is compared and analyzed after one month of intervention.

The study used Excel 2010 and SPSS 23.0 to organize and analyze the data. The results showed that there was no significant difference in mental health indicators between the experimental group and the control group before the power allocation reform (P>0.05), and after intervention, the values of mental health indicators in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).

According to the results, it can be seen that the internal power allocation in universities has a certain impact on the mixed depression of college students, and after replanning and rational allocation, the psychological health status of college students can be significantly improved.

Bipolar disorder (BP) is a chronic and recurrent psychiatric disorder characterized by manic/hypomanic and depressive episodes with or without mixed features. Despite high levels of functional disability associated with BP, internal and external stigma can create barriers to successful recovery. This retrospective, observational social listening study was conducted to understand how stigma-related terms correlated with discussion of therapeutic interventions and psychosocial domains associated with functional recovery in unprompted, online conversations by self-identified bipolar disorder patients.

A comprehensive search was performed for publicly available, online conversations posted on forums, blogs, message boards, and the social media platforms Facebook and YouTube between 1/1/2019 and 9/30/2021. Digital interactions of anonymous self-identified BP-diagnosed patients were analyzed to identify associations between common themes and sentiments related to BP and stigma. An index value (baseline=100) was calculated based on the expected correlation between the rate that a stigma-related concept was used in BP conversation versus general online conversation. An index value >100 indicated higher correlation than statistically expected; index values <100 indicated lower correlation than expected.

A total of 257,964 conversations from 30,710 patients with BP were identified for analysis (mean, 8.4 BP-I posts per individual/year). The most prevalent stigma-related terms in patient conversations were guilt (6.9%), frustrated/discouraged (1.8%), shame (1.1%), and exhaustion (1.1%). Stigma-related terms over-indexed in conversations attributed to bipolar patients (e.g., guilt=708, denial=563, embarrassment=480); stigma-related terms were also over-indexed in relapse-related conversations (e.g., stressed=184, shame=141, and frustrated/discouraged=124). Social/familial topics (47.2%) were discussed as often as medical/psychological interventions (48.7%) and medication (42.8%). Medical intervention-related conversations were not highly correlated with stigma, except in areas of insurance/disability. Stigma-related terms were over-indexed in conversations related to social/familial relationships (e.g., isolation/loneliness=134, guilt=132), and jobs/school (e.g., embarrassment=190, stigma=184, overwhelmed=154, shame=142, isolation/loneliness=140).

These analyses describe the pattern by which stigma appears in patient perceptions of psychosocial and medical/therapeutic domains. Stigma significantly associates with psychosocial domains related to functional recovery, but not with patient perceptions of therapeutic interventions. Thus, stigma may act as a barrier between symptomatic remission and functional recovery. The patient-provider therapeutic alliance represents a trusted channel and an opportunity through which patients should be supported in overcoming stigma-related barriers to functional recovery.

In recent years, with the acceleration of population aging in China, the number of elderly people with depression is increasing. Artificial intelligence models and data analysis have sound applications in the early warning and treatment of the elderly with depression in the community by finding the elderly with depression timely and carrying out early warning treatment for them.

50 elderly people with depression, from two communities of equal size, were randomly selected to participate in the experiment. Among them, one community adopts routine management and treatment, and the other community conducts early-warning treatment based on an artificial intelligence model and data analysis. The former and the latter were used as the observation group and the intelligent group respectively. All the elderly were evaluated according to the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) before and 6 months after the experiment.

The GDS scores of the elderly in the observation group and the intelligent group before and after the experiment are shown in Table 1. Six months after the experiment, the GDS scores of the intelligent group are significantly lower than that of the observation group. According to statistics, the incidence rate of depression in the elderly can reach 10%, so it is necessary to strengthen the early warning and treatment of depression symptoms in the elderly. The artificial intelligence model and data analysis can help find the depressive symptoms of the elderly in the community as early as possible, and help take measures to carry out early warning treatment, thereby improving the depressive situation.

Approved therapeutics for bipolar depression are associated with a range of undesirable side effects. Lumateperone (LUMA), a mechanistically novel antipsychotic that simultaneously modulates serotonin, dopamine, and glutamate neurotransmission, is FDA-approved for the treatment of schizophrenia and depressive episodes associated with bipolar I or bipolar II disorder. The efficacy of LUMA in bipolar depression was previously established in two Phase 3 trials, as monotherapy (NCT03249376) and as adjunctive to lithium or valproate (NCT02600507).

A recent Phase 3 multi-center trial, Study 401 (NCT02600494) investigated the efficacy and safety of LUMA in bipolar depression and comprised a 6-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled period and a 6-month open-label extension (OLE) period. Here, we report the results of the OLE period, examining long-term safety.

Patients, aged 18–75 years, with a clinical diagnosis of bipolar I or II disorder who were experiencing a major depressive episode (Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale [MADRS] Total score ≥20 and a Clinical Global Impression Scale-Bipolar Version, Severity [CGI-BP-S] score ≥4) were eligible for Study 401. Patients who completed the double-blind study were eligible for direct rollover into the OLE or were re-screened if completing the double-blind period prior to the initiation of the OLE. During the OLE, LUMA 42 mg was administered once-daily in the evening for 25 weeks.

The primary objective was safety and tolerability of LUMA as measured by incidences of adverse events (AEs) and changes in laboratory parameters, cardiometabolic measurements, electrocardiogram (ECG), and vital signs. The secondary objective was improvement/maintenance of symptoms of depression as measured MADRS and CGI-BP-S Total scores.

A total of 127 patients were enrolled in the OLE, with 74 (58.3%) completing the study. Treatment-emergent AEs (TEAEs) occurred in 73 patients (57.5%) with 54 (42.5%) experiencing a drug-related TEAE. TEAEs that occurred in ≥5% of patients were headache, dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, somnolence, anxiety, and irritability. Most TEAEs were mild or moderate in severity. Extrapyramidal-symptom-related TEAEs were rare. Most patients who had normal metabolic laboratory values at baseline remained normal during the treatment period. Mean changes in blood pressure, pulse rate, ECG, and body morphology were minimal. Symptoms of depression improved as measured by the mean change from baseline to Day 175 in MADRS Total score (−8.9) and CGI-BP-S Total score (−2.3).

In patients with bipolar depression, long-term LUMA treatment was generally well tolerated with low risk of extrapyramidal symptoms, weight gain, and cardiometabolic effects. These data further support the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of LUMA in patients with bipolar depression.

Alcohol dependence is a chronic and recurrent brain disease of central nervous system poisoning caused by long-term excessive drinking. The prevalence of alcohol-dependence patients in China shows a rising trend year by year. Alcohol dependence will not only cause serious harm to patients’ physical health and mental state, but also affect their family relations and even entire social security. The study evaluated the improvement of psychological intervention measures on alcohol-dependent people’s rehydration in the context of the Great Thought Policy to help them better reduce alcohol dependence.

The study selected 200 patients with alcohol dependence admitted to a provincial hospital. The patients were divided into an experimental group and a control group by the random number table method. Both groups were treated with the same drug intervention. Among them, the patients in the experimental group were treated under active psychotherapy, that is, the responsible nurse combined psychological knowledge with ideological guidance to guide the patients to quit drinking. The control group was given routine psychological intervention. The patients were investigated with Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) and telephone follow-up. The data were processed with SPSS 17.0 statistical software, and P < 0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant.

Results showed that the rehydration rate and rehospitalization rate of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the mental health status of the patients in the experimental group was significantly improved compared with the control group (P < 0.05), indicating that the psychological measures under the ideological and political intervention can effectively control the patients’ emotions.Table 1.

The experimental results show that the combination of ideological guidance and positive psychological knowledge, and the guidance and intervention of patients can effectively reduce their alcohol relapse, improve the level of mental health, and achieve the effect of successful abstinence.

Car accidents have a serious impact on the physical health and mental state of patients, leading to traumatic stress disorder. A good environment is beneficial for students to cultivate healthy and sound personalities, and has a positive impact on their mental health. Traditional culture and artistic environment can effectively alleviate patients’ anxiety.

The study selected a total of 98 students with traumatic stress disorder caused by car accidents from our hospital from January to December 2022 as the study subjects. The selected research subjects were divided into two groups: the control group and the experimental group. There was no significant difference in age, gender, etc. between the two groups of students (P>0.05). The experimental group received intervention using environmental therapy combined with general treatment, while the control group received routine intervention treatment.

The study used SPSS23.0 statistical software for data analysis, and the results showed that there was no significant difference in the total PCL-L scores between the two groups of patients before the intervention (P>0.05). After the intervention, the scores and scores of both groups decreased, and the experimental group was lower than the control group (P<0.05).

Traditional culture and art environment influence psychological intervention, which starts from various aspects such as psychological and physiological support, active care and encouragement of injured patients to express their feelings, and release and relax treatment, comprehensively improves patients’ understanding of the disease, enhances their treatment compliance, and improves their psychological state.

With the development of the economy and society and the further increase of social competition pressure, people often encounter some difficulties or pressure in academics, employment, economy, interpersonal relationship, marriage and other aspects. Mental health problems occur frequently. The burden of illness caused by mental health is growing. In recent years, it has had the greatest impact on our country’s foreign trade industry. The most profound social event is the China–United States trade war. On March 22, 2018, the US announced an additional 25 percent tariff on $60 billion of Chinese goods. On March 23, China retaliated by imposing additional tariffs on $3 billion of imported goods from the US, marking the official start of the “China–United States trade war”. Mental health is an important part of people’s health. Without a healthy mind, there will be no healthy life. In recent years, with the rapid development of the global mental health movement, the attention of all walks of life to mental health has reached a new height. The researchers investigated or studied the mental health status of teachers, school students, police officers, medical personnel, workers, left-behind children, sailors and supervised personnel from various perspectives. Based on the above, the study analyzes the impact of the trade war on the psychological characteristics and mental health of foreign trade employees and the relationship between them, in order to improve the anxiety of foreign trade employees.

The research data was obtained through a questionnaire survey. At the beginning of the questionnaire, unified guidance is used to introduce the nature, purpose and filling method of the survey. The respondents are asked to select the corresponding answer for each item in a secret way according to their actual situation. The questionnaire is distributed centrally and filled out separately. The original data obtained from the questionnaire contains 438 samples, some of which have problems such as the mission of question filling, inconsistency of key information, and continuous selection of the same options in each question of the same scale, which need to be excluded. After pretreatment, the sample size was 354, and the sample effective rate was 81%. Stata16.0 software and SPSS22.0 software were used for the calculation and statistics of relevant data.Figure 1.

As shown in Figure 1, under the psychological intervention of trade war subjective perception adjustment for foreign trade practitioners, scores of all index of Well-Being scales were significantly higher than before the intervention (P < 0.01).

The results of this study show that after the intervention mechanism of trade war subjective perception regulation, all the scores of indexes of Well-Being scale are significantly higher than before the intervention (P < 0.01), indicating that the trade war subjective perception regulation mechanism is intervening in the psychology of foreign trade practitioners, which can improve the work happiness of foreign trade practitioners. Avoiding social events such as the China–United States trade war may aggravate their psychological symptoms and reduce their mental health.

The Doctor Dolittle delusion, of animals conversing with the sufferer, has not heretofore been reported to occur with heroin intoxication.

This 23-year-old right-handed single male used heroin daily since the age of 19. For 2 years prior to presentation, 1 hour after injecting at least one bag of heroin IV, he developed hallucinations of animals talking to him. The voices would occur simultaneously with moving their mouths. Dogs would bark, cats would meow, and birds would squawk his name. Insects would engage him in friendly conversation. Different pitches of voice were produced from each animal; birds were high-pitched; squirrels, insects, and cats were lower-pitched; dogs were medium-pitched. As his intoxication resolved, the hallucinations also evaporated.

Mental Status Examination: Oriented x 1, able to recall five digits forwards and three digits backwards. Able to remember none of four objects in 3 minutes without reinforcement and three with reinforcement. Able to spell the word “world” forwards but not backwards.

The hallucination of animals talking, coincident with their mouths moving, articulating the words, associated with intoxication with high doses of heroin, with resolution with elimination of heroin, suggests opioid intoxication is the causative factor. The mechanism of zoopsia in Parkinson’s disease has been attributed to dysfunction of the inferior longitudinal and inferior fronto-occipital fasciculi which relay visual information from the occipital cortex to the temporal and the orbitofrontal cortices. Heroin may have induced cortical inhibition, disinhibiting such pathways and thus facilitating these hallucinations. The simultaneous congruent auditory and visual hallucinations suggests a central origin of these, controlling both the auditory and visual system, such as the left superior and middle temporal gyrus, or possibly the cerebellar vermis. What is unique about the current description is that multiple animal and insect species were involved, and that the pitch of their voice was species specific (high-pitched in birds, and low-pitched in rodents and insects). The pitch may reflect the individual’s personal hedonics towards the type of animal or the individual’s interpretations of mass media’s representation of these animals (i.e., cartoons of Looney Toons high-pitched Tweety Bird or Disney’s low-pitched Jiminy Cricket). While it is possibly due to the opioids themselves, heroin is frequently adulterated with fillers which may contain hallucinogenic properties, any of which may have been the pathogenic factor. Autophobia, or the need for social contact, may be the nidus motivating such communicative anthropomorphism. Query as to the presence of such Doctor Dolittle hallucinations in those with heroin or other intoxicants may be revealing.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is teenagers’ most common mental and behavioral disorder. Students with ADHD often tend to fidget with their hands and feet while attending in-person English classes. This behavior can impede their ability to engage effectively in learning, consequently leading to suboptimal academic outcomes. The online teaching mode is studied to improve the English learning effect of students with hyperactivity disorder.

The study divided 100 ADHD students in a city into an experimental group and a control group, in which 50 ADHD students in the experimental group were taught in English online teaching mode. In comparison, 50 students in the control group received English offline teaching mode. The study used the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder rating scale (SNAP-IV) to measure and finally compared the final scores of the two groups of students from September 2021 to January 2022 with the SNAP-IV score.

The data were analyzed by SPSS23.0 statistical software. The final English scores of the experimental group and the control group were (80.24±1.24) and (75.31±1.36) respectively, and the SNAP-IV scores of the experimental group and the control group were (12.2±2.7) and (15.1±2.3) respectively. The experimental group was superior to the control group, and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05).

Online English teaching can effectively reduce students’ divergent attention and improve students’ learning concentration.

Osteoarthritis in the lateral compartment of the knee joint is more common in middle-aged and elderly patients. Symptoms include pain, swelling, snapping, stiffness, and joint effusion. At present, there are many ways to treat osteoarthritis in the lateral compartment of the knee joint, and most people adopt conservative treatment. However, for patients with more serious conditions, conservative treatment cannot achieve obvious results, but surgical treatment is required. However, surgical treatment often causes psychological stress on patients, especially elderly patients. Therefore, the study focused on the occurrence and prevention of psychological diseases in patients with lateral knee osteoarthritis after postoperative care programs including psychological treatment.

A total of 110 patients with osteoarthritis in the lateral compartment of the knee admitted to a hospital from July 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects. The enrolled patients were randomly divided into two groups, the control group and the observation group, with 55 cases in each group. In the control group, there were 29 males and 26 females, aged 37-79 years, with an average of (60.22 ± 14.15) years old. In the observation group, there were 32 males and 23 females, aged from 35 to 80 years old, with an average of (60.83 ± 14.34) years old. There was no significant difference in general data between the two groups (P > 0.05), which were comparable. The control group was given routine postoperative care, and the observation group was given experimental nursing program including psychotherapy.

From the perspective of coping style, there was no significant difference (P > 0.05) in the scores of positive and negative coping styles between the two groups before nursing. After nursing, the positive coping style of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05), and the score of negative coping style was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). In terms of anxiety and depression scores, there was no significant difference in SAS (Self-Rating Anxiety Scale) and SDS (Self-Rating Depression Scale) scores between the two groups (P > 0.05). After nursing, the SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05), as shown in Table 1.Table 1.

The coping style and psychological state of patients with osteoarthritis in the lateral compartment of the knee have a greater impact on postoperative recovery, and individualized nursing including psychotherapy can help improve their coping style and psychological state.

Bipolar disorder is a common mental disorder with manic episodes and depressive episodes. Because the Russian language and literature in colleges and universities are obscure, it is easy to aggravate the illness of students with bipolar disorder. Educational psychology was cited in Russian language and literature teaching to reduce student disease.

In this study, 100 students with bipolar disorder in a city were divided into an experimental group and a control group, in which 50 students in the experimental group were taught the Russian language and literature teaching mode based on educational psychology. In comparison, 50 students in the control group were taught by traditional Russian language and literature teaching mode. The study also used the Mania Scale (BRMS) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) for psychological measurement and finally compared the BRMS and HAMD scores of the two groups for four months.

Statistical software SPSS23.0 was used to analyze the data. The scores of BRMS and HAMD in the experimental group were (6.26±1.71) and (3.74±1.58), while those in the control group were (8.90±1.64) and (5.95±1.20). The experimental group was better than the control group, and there was an apparent difference between the two groups (P < 0.05).

Teaching Russian language and literature in colleges and universities based on educational psychology can effectively alleviate the illness degree of students with bipolar disorder and improve their learning concentration.

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) continues to be one of the most effective treatments for severe and treatment-resistant major depression. Although there are no absolute contraindications to performing ECT, the risks and benefits need to be assessed in all patients. We present a patient with a history of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) with significant thrombocytopenia, who completed an index course of six ECT sessions without complication. Currently, there are only two published case reports which describe the use of ECT in patients with thrombocytopenia.

AD is a 37-year-old female with a history significant for MDD, GAD, panic disorder, PNH, and Budd Chiari, who presented to ED for suicidal ideation. Initial labs showed pancytopenia (Hb 4.56 mg/dl, Absolute Neutrophil 0.7 x 103/mL). Given her history of multiple failed SSRIs, ECT was proposed to treat her depression. Anesthesia delayed her initial pre-operative assessment due to concerns regarding her platelet count and risk of bleeding. They recommended transfusion with a preprocedural platelet count goal of 50 x 103/mL. Psychiatry recommended a platelet goal of 20 x 103/mL given previous ECT literature. Patient underwent six ECT sessions without complications. Her platelets ranged from 24–40 x 103/mL and she did not require preprocedural platelet transfusion.

Due to a lack of published literature, there are no formal guidelines for performing ECT in thrombocytopenic patients. The first case report details a 64-year-old female who underwent 12 ECT sessions without complication, while her platelet count ranged from 7–38 x 103/mL. The most recent case report describes a 74-year-old male who underwent nine ECT treatments without complications. The authors decided to transfuse prophylactically if pre-procedure platelet count was less than 20 x 103/mL. The patient underwent nine treatments, requiring eight transfusions. CT head did not show any signs of hemorrhage or structural changes. The authors remarked it is unclear whether the transfusions were necessary.

Even though ECT has been in use for over 80 years, there is still much that is unknown about this treatment modality. This case highlights the lack of absolute contraindications to performing ECT. However, the lack of literature and studies regarding platelet goals in thrombocytopenic patients for ECT delayed patient care in this specific case. We add a third case report in a thrombocytopenic patient who underwent ECT without complications with a pre-procedure transfusion criterion if platelet count was less than 20 x 103/mL. More research needs to be conducted to determine risk and cut-off limits for platelet transfusion prior to performing ECT in thrombocytopenic patients.

Viloxazine ER (viloxazine extended-release capsules (Qelbree®) is a novel, nonstimulant, FDA-approved treatment for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults and children ≥6 years of age. Viloxazine ER inhibits cytochrome P450-1A2, the enzyme responsible for caffeine metabolism. In a Phase 1 study, the peak exposure (Cmax) of caffeine was unchanged, while the systemic total exposure (AUC) was shown to increase ~5-fold following coadministration of caffeine (200mg) with viloxazine ER (900 mg/day x 4 days) compared to caffeine alone. Except for insomnia (44.4%), and possibly dizziness (8.3%), the incidence of adverse events (AEs) was not notably higher following coadministration vs. either caffeine or viloxazine ER alone. The objective of this analysis was to evaluate the impact of caffeine consumption on the incidence of AEs in adults with ADHD treated with viloxazine ER.

Data were analyzed from the Phase 3, double-blind (DB), placebo-controlled trial (NCT04016779) and ensuing (ongoing) open-label extension (OLE) safety trial (NCT04143217) supporting the viloxazine ER indication for adults with ADHD. Participants reported caffeine intake during the past week at each study visit.

Correlation was assessed between viloxazine ER dose (mg/day) and weekly total caffeine consumption (mg) and between ADHD Investigator Symptom Rating Scale (AISRS) Total score and caffeine consumption. Fifteen AE preferred terms, known to be associated with caffeine consumption, were evaluated. For viloxazine ER-treated subjects (200–600 mg/day) who experienced a potentially caffeine-associated AE, the probability the AE occurred as a function of viloxazine ER dose and caffeine consumption during the DB or OLE trials was estimated using a logistic regression model for AEs with an incidence ≥5%.

Of 372 enrolled subjects ~85% reported caffeine use during the DB trial; mean caffeine use was 1034 mg/week for the placebo group and 859 mg/week for the viloxazine ER group. There was no correlation between viloxazine ER dose and caffeine consumption (p=0.73), nor between AISRS total score and caffeine consumption (p=0.908). Of subjects reporting caffeine use, 44 (DB placebo), 79 (DB viloxazine ER), and 33 (OLE viloxazine ER) reported any of the pre-identified caffeine- associated AEs and were included in the regression analysis. For these subjects, insomnia-related AEs, fatigue, nausea, headache-related AEs, decreased appetite, and somnolence-related AEs occurred in ≥5% of viloxazine ER-treated subjects. Based on the regression analysis, caffeine consumption significantly increased the probability of experiencing insomnia-related AEs only (p=0.02).

This analysis suggests using caffeine concomitantly with viloxazine ER does not increase the likelihood of experiencing caffeine-related AEs except for insomnia. Still patients should be aware of the potential for viloxazine ER to augment caffeine exposure.

Dissociative anxiety disorder in student group is a common mental disorder in the learning process of students. When students are separated from their attachment objects, they will have extremely strong resistance psychology, which will lead to their excessive dissociative anxiety. Dissociative anxiety disorder will lead to more abnormal behaviors and emotions in their life and study. How to alleviate students’ dissociative anxiety disorder has become the focus of current education research.

In this study, 68 students were diagnosed as dissociative anxiety disorder in a school and they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 34 in each group. The students in the control group adopted routine mental health education during the treatment, while the students in the experimental group combined drama management strategies on the basis of mental health education. Finally, evaluate the changes and differences of dissociative anxiety between the two groups.

The comparison results of the two groups of students are shown in Table 1. Table 1 shows that the anxiety scores of students in the experimental group are significantly lower than those in the control group, and the scores of behavior control and emotional response of students in the experimental group are also significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment, with a statistically significant difference.Table 1.

Students’ dissociative anxiety disorder has seriously affected students’ life and learning progress, so it is very important to alleviate students’ dissociative anxiety disorder. In the study, an intervention strategy combining drama management and mental health education was proposed. Through experimental verification, this strategy can significantly reduce students’ anxiety scores, and alleviate students’ anxiety behaviors and emotions. Therefore, in education and teaching, it is feasible to introduce drama management strategies to enhance the cultivation of students’ mental health, which is of great significance to the improvement of education quality and students’ growth.

Anxiety refers to the intense, excessive, and persistent anxiety and fear in daily life, which will peak in a few minutes. Especially in online shopping, patients with anxiety will aggravate their anxiety because of the slow delivery of the traditional logistics supply chain management model. To reduce consumers’ anxiety, the network distribution system of logistics supply chain management mode is optimized.

This study divided 200 patients with anxiety disorder in a city into a control group and an experimental group. In the experimental group, 100 patients used the optimized logistics supply chain management mode for online shopping. In contrast, in the control group, 100 patients used the traditional logistics supply chain management mode for online shopping. The study also used the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) for psychological measurement and compared the SAS scores of the two groups of consumers for two months.

The data were analyzed by SPSS23.0. The SAS score of the experimental group was (1.63±0.23), and that of the control group was (1.81±0.59). The SAS scores of patients in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, and there were apparent differences between the two groups (P < 0.05).

Research on the choice of logistics supply chain management mode for online shopping optimizing its network distribution system can effectively shorten the online shopping distribution time and reduce consumers’ purchase anxiety.

Bipolar depression refers to bipolar disorder that occurs when depression and mania coexist. The onset of this disease is easily influenced by the patient’s negative attitude. Marxism under dialectical thinking has a good psychological guiding effect.

In order to verify the psychological guidance effect of the Marxist spirit under dialectical thinking on students with bipolar depression, the study will select 80 students with bipolar depression for comparative experiments. The students are randomly divided into two groups, one group being a blank group, which only received traditional treatment. The other group is the experimental group, which adopts a combination of traditional treatment and Marxist spiritual education of dialectical thinking. The experimental period is 30 days. Before and after the experiment, patients filled out the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA). The psychological status of the two groups of experimental subjects was analyzed based on the results of the table.

Before the start of the experiment, the HAMA scores of the blank group and the experimental group were 16.52 ± 2.12 and 16.61 ± 1.89, respectively, and the HAMD scores were 17.46 ± 2.36 and 16.92 ± 3.21, respectively. After the experiment, the HAMA scores of the blank group and the experimental group were 14.56 ± 2.68 and 11.56 ± 3.15, respectively, and the HAMD scores were 14.76 ± 1.79 and 11.38 ± 2.73.

Under dialectical thinking, the Marxist spirit can improve the psychological state of students with bipolar depression.

At present, college students all have psychological problems of varying degrees, the most serious of which is depression. Serious depression will affect students’ life and learning order, cause depression cognitive function, and have a significant impact on students’ future development. In the context of COVID-19, college students’ depression is particularly obvious. Therefore, the treatment of depression is urgent. As ideological, political, and mental health education have the same goals, the study will combine them with psychosocial intervention therapy to explore effective treatment methods for depression.

The study selected 24 patients with depression from each of the four colleges and universities as the research objects. They participated in the experiment of ideological and political education combined with psychosocial intervention to improve the cognitive function of depression. In the experiment, 96 college students were divided into the research group and observation group, with 48 students in each. The observation group was given conventional psychosocial intervention therapy, and the research group was given ideological and political education combined with psychosocial intervention therapy. The difference between the two groups of patients was compared using the Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and body mass index.

The SDS scores and body mass index results of the two groups of patients before and after treatment are shown in Table 1. Before the experiment, the difference between the body mass index and SDS scores of the two groups was small. After the experiment, the body mass index score of the study group increased significantly, and the SDS score decreased significantly; The observation group has the same performance, but the effect is not as good as the study group.Table 1.

In the context of COVID-19, we studied how to employ the ideas conveyed by ideological and political education to help students develop correct awareness, and how to apply the treatment method of ideological and political education in colleges and universities combined with psychosocial intervention to help students significantly improve cognitive function of depression.

Most ADHD treatments are thought to be effective due to augmentation of dopamine (DA) and norepinephrine (NE). Our prior preclinical studies found that the ADHD treatment, viloxazine, may augment serotonin (5-HT) in addition to NE and DA; however, it was unclear if these effects occurred at clinically relevant concentrations. To further understand these potential 5-HT effects, we conducted a series of experiments with two objectives: 1) Can we confirm and better elucidate the previously observed serotonergic effects of viloxazine and determine if they occur at clinically relevant concentrations? 2) Are these effects observed in species with close physiology to humans?

Objective 1: The affinity of viloxazine for human isoforms of 5-HT2A, 5-HT2B, 5-HT2C, and 5-HT7 receptors was assessed via cell-based binding assays. Viloxazine agonism of 5-HT2C and antagonism at 5-HT7 was elucidated with IP1, Ca2+, β-arrestin, internalization, and cAMP assays in cells expressing human receptor isoforms. A microdialysis study was conducted in rats to determine the relationship between viloxazine concentrations in the interstitial fluid (ISF) and changes in NE, DA, 5-HT, and their metabolite concentrations in the prefrontal cortex (PFC). Objective 2: A PET imaging study using a 5-HT2A/2C radioligand agonist, [11C]CIMBI-36, is being conducted in non-human primates (NHPs) to evaluate if viloxazine binds these receptors and/or increases 5-HT release.

Animal research was approved by animal care and use committees. Animals were cared for according to international standards.

Objective 1: Cell-based assays to measure viloxazine affinity for NET, 5-HT2B, 5-HT2C, and 5-HT7 found Ki values of 0.14, 0.65, 0.84, 1.90 μM respectively. These values were lower than therapeutically relevant rat ISF concentrations (3.5 ± 1.6 μM) approximating pediatric ADHD patients unbound plasma concentrations (2.1-3.3 μM), indicating receptor recruitment. Binding affinity and functional activity assays found viloxazine had negligible activity for 5-HT2A and SERT at therapeutic concentrations. Viloxazine 5-HT2C agonism activated Gq-protein signaling (EC50=1.6 μM, Ca2+ assay), but not β-arrestin or internalization pathways (EC50 values >150 μM). Viloxazine 5-HT7 antagonism decreased Gs-protein signaling (IC50 =6.7 μM). The microdialysis study found that at therapeutically relevant ISF concentrations, 5-HT levels were significantly increased over baseline; no changes were seen in the 5-HIAA metabolite, indicating 5-HT increase is not due to 5-HT reuptake inhibition. Objective 2: PET imaging studies are ongoing.

To date, our experiments to further elucidate the potential 5-HT effects of viloxazine have shown that the previously observed effects of viloxazine on 5-HT receptors and its augmentation of 5-HT in rat PFC occur at clinically relevant concentrations. Further exploration is needed to ascertain if these effects occur in NHPs and are relevant to ADHD.

Lumateperone (LUMA) is an FDA-approved antipsychotic to treat schizophrenia and depressive episodes associated with bipolar I or bipolar II disorder. An open-label study (Study 303) evaluated the safety and tolerability of LUMA in outpatients with stable schizophrenia who switched from previous antipsychotic (AP) treatment. This post hoc analysis of Study 303 investigated the safety and tolerability of LUMA stratified by previous AP in patients who switched to LUMA treatment for 6 weeks.

Adult outpatients (≥18 years) with stable schizophrenia were switched from previous AP to LUMA 42 mg once daily for 6 weeks followed by switching to another approved AP for 2 weeks follow-up. Post hoc analyses were stratified by most common previous AP: risperidone or paliperidone (RIS/PAL); quetiapine (QET); aripiprazole or brexpiprazole (ARI/BRE); olanzapine (OLA). Safety analyses included adverse events (AE), vital signs, and laboratory tests. Efficacy was assessed using the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) and the Clinical Global Impressions-Severity (CGI-S) scale.

The safety population comprised 301 patients, of which 235 (78.1%) were previously treated with RIS/PAL (n=95), QET (n=60), ARI/BRE (n=43), or OLA (n=37). Rates of treatment-emergent AEs (TEAEs) while on LUMA were similar between previous AP groups (44.2%-55.8%). TEAEs with incidences of ≥5% in any AP group were dry mouth, somnolence, sedation, headache, diarrhea, cough, and insomnia. Most TEAEs were mild or moderate in severity for all groups. Rates of serious TEAEs were low and similar between groups (0%–7.0%).

Statistically significant (P<.05) decreases from baseline were observed in the OLA group that switched to LUMA in total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with significant decreases thereafter on LUMA. Statistically significant decreases in prolactin levels were observed in both the RIS/PAL (P<.0001) and OLA (P<.05) groups. Patients switched from RIS/PAL to LUMA showed significant (P<.05) decreases for body mass index, waist circumference, and weight. At follow-up, 2 weeks after patients switched back from LUMA to another AP, none of the decreases in laboratory parameters or body morphology observed while on LUMA maintained significance.

Those switching from QET had significant improvements from baseline at Day 42 in PANSS Total score (mean change from baseline −3.47; 95% confidence interval [CI] −5.27, −1.68; P<.001) and CGI-S Total score (mean change from baseline −0.24; 95% CI, −0.38, −0.10; P<.01).

In outpatients with stable schizophrenia, LUMA 42 mg treatment was well tolerated in patients switching from a variety of previous APs. Patients switching from RIS/PAL or OLA to LUMA had significant improvements in cardiometabolic and prolactin parameters. These data further support the favorable safety, tolerability, and efficacy of LUMA in patients with schizophrenia.
