In Delury, Smith, Repnikova, and Raghavan (Reference Delury, Smith, Repnikova and Raghavan2015) page 804, the sentence referring to the Japanese emperor's visit to China should read “Reconciliation continued to motivate diplomacy, and, in 1992, Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko made their delicate visit to China to express remorse for the war.”
