Laphygma flavimaculata, Harvey.

Determined by Prof. J. B. Smith. Eggs of this species occured to me in the Hawaiian Islands at Kaawoloa, Kona, Hawaii and at Honolulu, Oahu.

Egg.–Nearly spherical, flattened at base, densely striated vertically; of a flesh-coloured tint, and covered with gray down; diameter, 0.6 mm. Depostied in a large mass on a grass stem.
