Summary
Ultrasound (US) is used as the first-line imaging modality for many obstetric and gynaecological (O&G) conditions. It is the perfect tool for general clinicians to narrow down broad differential diagnoses and can identify key pathology in emergency situations. This is a critical skill for clinicians in all fields including general practitioners, remote medical providers, paramedics and emergency or acute care clinicians.
