Summary

A 58-year-old woman presented with a painless lump at the angle of the left mandible. Physical examination showed a swelling which was not fixed to the underlying structures. Ultrasound examination showed that the lesion was in the superficial lobe of the parotid and was formed by multiple nodules of varying size measuring together 1.8 × 1.5 × 1 cm. There were no enlarged lymph nodes. A fine-needle aspirate showed aggregates of oncocytes without signs of atypia. The patient was then treated with superficial parotidectomy.
