Summary

A 50-year-old male presented with a 3.5 × 2-cm painless polypoid lesion of the left margin of the tongue. The lesion had been growing slowly over several years, and the patient referred to a physician due to increased difficulty in swallowing and speech. An excisional biopsy was performed under local anesthesia.
