Summary
Sustainability policies are about new transformation and trajectories, responsibility and governance. Providing scientific evidence and transformative knowledge is one of its main sources and tools. Germany is well placed to share experiences with building institutions for sustainable development, although it must be noted that institutionalization is never completed or finalized. Choice editing and raising awareness form crucial parts of transformative knowledge that can be offered through the process of building institutions for sustainable development.
