Summary
The systematic study and theoretical-methodological analyses of Chilean literature have been mediated by expectations regarding its affiliation to a generational cohesion that has come under question. It has also been mediated by the way in which various Eurocentric aesthetics were reproduced in Chile, leading to the establishment of an order of the narrative discourse of historical affiliation based on bio-bibliographies, chronology, and literary historiography (Zamudio; Silva Castro).
