Summary
[], Acarias
Held of the abbey of St Albans in 1166. Perhaps the same as the priest Zachary who attested a charter of Abbot Geoffrey de Gorron. His son held the manor of Sarratt, which Abbot Robert de Gorron (Geoffrey's nephew) had given to his brother Ralph without the monks’ consent. He was perhaps father of Grace, wife of Peter II of Goldington, who had land at Sarratt in 1236-37; VCH Herts ii, 440.

He was the Ailmar mentioned in the fee of Robert of Tosny and may have been the same as the antecessor of Archbishop Thomas.
