The book’s conclusion takes a parting look at Garrick’s media involvement post-retirement, and at Garrickian prints and their circulation, considering nineteenth- and twentieth-century extra-illustration of biographies of Garrick as processes of selection contained within a highly mediated visual archive designed to enhance Garrick’s celebrity.
