The Union Medical Council (see also #3633.2) was a private clinic devoted to treating the “diseases of men,” i.e., underdeveloped genitalia, spermatorrhea, impotence, varicocele and sexually transmitted diseases. As was the case with much of the promotional literature issued by “men's disease” institutes in urban America, this pamphlet double purposed as a memorandum book and an advertising medium. A calendar for 1907/08 is printed on back wrapper.
