An error was made in reporting the predictions of Bybee in the discussion section of the above publication (Walker, Reference Walker2012). The sentence on p. 411, which reads:

“For example, she predicted that words that occur more often before vowels (a disfavoring context for deletion) are more likely to undergo (t/d)-deletion . . .”

Should read:

“For example, she predicted that words that occur more often before vowels (a disfavoring context for deletion) are less likely to undergo (t/d)-deletion . . .”
