Female Political Scientists Who Have Run for Public Office

Barbara Burrell, Northern Illinois University, and Jackie De-Laat, Marietta College, are undertaking a research project on women political scientist faculty members who have run for public office. If you are such an individual or know of someone who fits that criterion, please forward that information to one of them. They are seeking individuals who have run regardless of whether they won or not. It can be for any elective office in the public domain from school board, village trustee, on up to president. Burrell and DeLaat plan to conduct indepth interviews with these women about their experiences as candidates and officeholders.
