The Medico-Psychological Association of Great Britain and Ireland

Regulations for the Training and Examinations of Candidates for the Certificate of Proficiency in Nursing and Attending on the Mentally Defective, with respect to which some discussion took place at the Annual Meeting (see p. 613).

Published online by Cambridge University Press:  19 February 2018

Extract

These Regulations are practically identical with those in force as regards candidates engaged in nursing the insane, with the exception of a few necessary verbal alterations. The same is the case with respect to the Syllabus for the Preliminary Examination, but in the case of the Final there are some alterations and additions. The first three sections on “Diseases and Disorders,” “The Nervous System,” and “The Mind,” are practically the same.
