1 Contemporaries gives the date of Luis Núñez Coronel’s death as 1531, not 1535 (ep. 1274), and confirms Allen’s correction (ep. 1331, 56n.) of a statement repeated here (ep. 1331, n. 23).

2 Gran (ep. 1260, n. 31, from Allen) is the German name for Estergom. An identification for ep. 1355, no. 2, made later by Allen (ix. xxiii) appears to have been missed.
