2. According to Dr. Asghar Mahdavi, grandson of Mohammad Hasan, an additional part of the biography has been found recently, and it is hoped it will be published soon.
3. There exist other documents on Haj Amin al Zarb in the Iranian National Archives which should be studied.
4. According to Dr Mahdavi at about this time he went to stay for a time in Istanbul and Tabriz to learn their methods of trade, which were more advanced than in Tehran.
