The regulations were approved by the Executive Directors of the Inter–American Development Bank on September 30, 1963, and amended April 1, 1964. The Bank has allocated an initial amount of $30,000,000 t o finance this program, which was initiated on January 1, 1964. As of May 1, 1964, the Bank had approved four lines of credit totalling $11,000,000. The program is the first multilateral export financing system for capital goods ever put into effect.]
