Background

The aim of this study is the investigation of anxiety prevalence between first semester and last semester students in university and this research explains the rate of students’ anxiety in university's terms.

Methods

This investigation is a descriptive study that 120 students (60 F, 60 M) in Ardabil University from the first and final semesters as the accidental samples by questionnaire are selected. We used Cottle Anxiety test and gained results by SPSS and statistical analysis.

Results

First semester students' anxiety rate was (50%) and final semester students too (50%). (57.7%) of cases were native. most of them (93.3%) was jobless and single (87.5%).

Conclusion

This study shows that there isn’t meaningful relation between rate of Anxiety and age, situation of marriage, occupational situation and living place in first or last semester students of Ardabil University.
