1 An exception is fr. 42 (if we can follow the analysis of the Peleus-Thetis story), where an interesting contrast emerges between Paris ξενναπ⋯τας and the behaviour of Peleus at the court of Acastus. Some good points are made about Sappho fr. 16 and Alcaeus fr. 283, but more as the result of internal analysis than comparison with sources.
