These lines of Cassandra's speech, as given in the MSS., run thus:

νεν τ' ἄπαρχος Ἰλίου τ' ναστάτης

οὐκ οἶδεν οἷα γλσσα μισητς κυνς

λέξασα κα κτείνασα ϕαιδρνους, δίκην

ἄτης λαθραίου, τεξεται κακῇ τχῃ.

τοιάδε τολμ· θλυς ἄρσενος ϕονεὺς

ἔστιν.
