SYNOPSIS OF THE GENUS MESTOCHARIS FÖRSTER IN AMERICA NORTH OF MEXICO (CHALCIDOIDEA: EULOPHIDAE)

Abstract

Two new species, Mestocharis nearctica and M. tropicalis (Chalcidoidea: Eulophidae), are described from North America with a key to species and scanning electron microscope photographs. This is the first report of the genus Mestocharis from North America.

Description de deux nouvelles espèces nord-américaines Mestocharis nearctica et M. tropicalis (Chalcidoidés, Eulophidés), avec une clef des espèces et des illustrations. La présence de ce genre en Amérique du Nord est rapportée pour la première fois.
