There has always been a love, hate, ignore relationship between poultry and other meats. If one is sensitive, it is possible to detect it in many ways — the majority of farmers' attitudes to feather, the emphasis shown in research and scientific agencies, Government bodies and even CAP where the impression is given that modern poultry production is somehow not agriculture unless it is that anachronism — “Free Range”.
