Antimicrobial Stewardship & Healthcare Epidemiology (ASHE) is is now seeking high-quality commentaries and primary research articles exploring the roles of antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention on the healthcare industry's carbon footprint and how our fields can influence sustainability practices within healthcare. Specific topics include but are not limited to:

• Environmental impact of PPE and healthcare policies to improve environmental sustainability
• The impact of climate change on AMR infections and HAIs
• Impacts of climate change on human health of vulnerable, marginalized, or special patient populations (e.g., pediatrics)
• Pharmacy and antimicrobial stewardship-based interventions to reduce the environmental impact of healthcare
• Diagnostic stewardship policies to improve the environmental impact of healthcare
• One Health approach to sustainability in healthcare, farming and environmental sectors, including promotion of One Health policies and awareness.
• Strategies for waste management across various One Health sectors (e.g., disposal of unused antimicrobial drugs and infectious waste, pharmaceutical effluent management, etc.)
