Summary
The choir records were lost in the fire that destroyed the church on the night of 16 April 1941 and the list that follows of music performed during Goodall's time as organist and choirmaster at St Alban's has been compiled from advance notices of services found in the Daily Telegraph, the St Alban's Monthly Paper and the Church Times. Since the notices oft en appeared sporadically and the information they contained was sometimes sketchy, the list may not be complete, particularly in the case of the motets, but it does show the range of music that Goodall gave at St Alban’s. Works known to have been introduced into the repertory by Goodall are marked. Works given with instrumental accompaniment are marked.
